Static first

The site never depends on a server that can go down.

Static assets and edge workers only. If a pipeline fails, the last good version is served — never an error, never a spinner.

Real data

Real data, or an honest empty state.

Nothing is mocked to look busy. A tool with no data says so, a publication with no edition says so, and a timestamp is the time something actually happened.

Reasoning published

The decisions are written down where you can read them.

Every architectural call on this site — including the reversed ones — is in the blog and the project write-ups, with the reasoning and the date attached.
